Saugerties Tour

Sunday October 2, 2016 - Monday October 3, 2016 05:00am-04:59am
Event type:
Paddle
County:
Dutchess
Address:
Town of Saugerties Glasco Mini Park
Saugerties, NY 12432
Starting at the Glasco Mini Park Landing in Saugerties, two miles below the Esopus Creek. Heading South we usually make our first stop at Ulster Landing Park.

After reaching the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge we cross to the eastern shore and head north. We can explore South Tivoli Bay and see the Sawkill Creek waterfall at Bard College or stop on Cruger Island for a break.

Continuing north to Tivoli landing we can turn back to our starting point or head to the Saugerties Lighthouse.

If it’s windy and the river is rough we will need to do a shorter trip. Whatever we decide to do, this is a nice part of the Hudson to paddle many options.
